Week 4: Thursday. Another vest. I think this is the last of them, though.  [ shirt- Guess, vest- Savers, jeans- Lee, shoes- Dexter ] These shoes are so loud that I feel like a tap dancer, too.

Week 4: Wednesday. I didn’t want to say anything because I don’t want to jinx it, but this is basically like wearing a t-shirt and hoodie, like I did every other day prior to this makeover. In other words, I can dig it. [sweatshirt: Converse, polo: American Apparel, jeans: Levis, shoes: Sketchers ] Beats wearing a tie and suit vest, that’s for dang sure.

Week 4. Tuesday. For four days, she’s had me try on this vest. She finally forced me to wear it out in public today. [shirt: Savers, vest: Savers, jeans: Lee, shoes: Unlisted] I feel like John Ritter’s stand-in on “Three’s Company” in this get up.

Week 4: Monday. Another pearl snap shirt and now new shoes. These are 1/3 frat boy boat shoes, 1/3 Eastlands circa 1994, and 1/3 tennis shoe. All in all it’s a strange hybrid that I’m not too crazy about. [ shirt: Blue Velvet vintage, jeans: Lee, shoes: Sketchers. Not pictured: the women’s H&M cardigan she claimed was “unisex”. ] I’m not going to knock these shoes too hard, though. They’re extremely comfortable, so they’ve got that going for ‘em.

There wasn’t a camera, but now there is.

Week 4: Pictures start up again tomorrow. Today she made me wear an H&M sweater that I later Googled and found out is a women’s. This makeover isn’t going so well.

Week 3: Jimi was into my outfit on Tuesday, but on Wednesday, he couldn’t care less. Must be the “unisex” sweater again.  [ Tuesday: shirt- Perry Ellis, pants- Levis, shoes- Unlisted, belt- Nautica ][ Wednesday: sweater and polo- American Apparel, jeans- Lee, shoes- Unlisted ] The Wife has two cameras and both of them are out of commission. I thought this meant the makeover was off. No. Instead this means she takes photos on her phone and begs me for new cameras.

Week 3: If Keith Urban ever calls me to play bass in his backup band, I am set with the wardrobe.  [ shirt: Kenny Rogers (it’s the brand, I don’t think this was his personally), jeans: Lee, shoes: Steve Madden ] The Wife bought me this shirt four years ago in Santa Cruz when we were still living in California. I’m now fairly certain that she was planning this makeover all along.

She loves vests.

Week 2: The Wife was sick last Friday. I thought that meant she wasn’t picking out my outfit. I was wrong. That just meant that she didn’t take a photo of Friday’s outfit. 

Just so you know, it was a vest. No surprise there though, right?
