A reporter from She Knows called The Wife to interview her about The Man Makeover. She happily obliged. Great. Now the rest of the American female population will be convinced that this is a good idea. My fellow men will not be pleased. [link]

The Man Makeover is still going strong. We just haven’t been updating the photos. The Wife blames her pregnancy and I suspect this is just the beginning of her using the kid as an excuse to shirk her duties (joke).
In any regard, she promises that she’ll start taking and editing my photos for me again starting this week. We bought a load of summer clothes recently, so soon you will be all updated with my awkward adventures in menswear.

I guess part of this man makeover is making me over into a dad. Bring on the dad jeans.

This happened yesterday. My ears are cold now. [video]

Week 5: Monday. It’s funny. The wife just blogged this morning about two wrongs making a right (she was referring to the vile combination of anchovies and pineapples on a pizza).

This outfit is a better illustration of how two wrongs make a right. I hate both this shirt and this sweater, but together. Eh. Not so bad.

Week 4: Friday. It’s been a month. I’ve worn more vests than a cross walk guard.

People finally realize that these new outfits are here to stay. I was kind of hoping she would have given up by now.

Week 4: Thursday. Another vest. I think this is the last of them, though.

These shoes are so loud that I feel like a tap dancer, too.

Week 4: Wednesday. I didn’t want to say anything because I don’t want to jinx it, but this is basically like wearing a t-shirt and hoodie, like I did every other day prior to this makeover. In other words, I can dig it.

Beats wearing a tie and suit vest, that’s for dang sure.

Week 4. Tuesday. For four days, she’s had me try on this vest. She finally forced me to wear it out in public today.

I feel like John Ritter’s stand-in on “Three’s Company” in this get up.

Week 4: Monday. Another pearl snap shirt and now new shoes. These are 1/3 frat boy boat shoes, 1/3 Eastlands circa 1994, and 1/3 tennis shoe. All in all it’s a strange hybrid that I’m not too crazy about.
[ shirt: Blue Velvet vintage, jeans: Lee, shoes: Sketchers. Not pictured: the women’s H&M cardigan she claimed was “unisex”. ]
I’m not going to knock these shoes too hard, though. They’re extremely comfortable, so they’ve got that going for ‘em.
